Ellen Womer, remembering her father Jack Womer of the 101st Airborne, and her father's friend George Radeka, who was killed in action in Normandy in 1944.

Today is a day of remembering and thanking our fallen heroes. Those, who from the Revolutionary war all the way to the war on terrorism, gave their lives for freedom. Let's take a moment today to thank them and remember their sacrifice.

We should also take a moment to remember the shattered families of the fallen, and the pain those families have had to endure.
And finally, let us take a moment to share their story, one way or another, so that their legacy will never be forgotten.
